The Ecobee thermostat spends its day online, and via a personal web portal, it enables you to change your home's temperature from any place in the world. It even has an iPhone application. The Ecobee Thermostat is also Baby-Boomer Friendly (BBF) and uses a plethora of snazzy colorful graphics to help the two of you stay on speaking terms. And it keeps abreast of the weather (forecast displayed onscreen) and any important software updates (which are automatically downloaded). The manufacturer estimates the remote programming features can reduce your heating/cooling expense by up to 20%.
