The cast-iron door features a large glass, self-cleaning window.
The stove is also environmentally friendly. It emits 1.6 grams of smoke (particulate emissions) per hour, one of the lowest numbers you'll find on a wood stove. Older models release up to 30 grams per hour.
If you're planning to use this inside an existing masonry chimney, you'll need to add a stainless steel liner installed to ensure proper draft.
Because combustion air is drafted from outside, this stove is approved for use in mobile homes.
