Curved legs soften the angular look of the Celtic wood stove. But there's nothing soft about the performance of this small heater.
Like all of this company's wood stoves, this one has a stainless steel baffle inside the tightly sealed firebox. Hot air is forced over the baffle for a more complete combustion without the need for a catalytic combustor. The stove has an efficiency rating of 85 percent.
With relatively low clearances – 12” on the sides -- to combustibles, the stove is certified for mobile home use.
Hot air is directed across the large viewing window, keeping the ceramic glass relatively soot free.
The stove delivers 44,000 BTUs of heat per hour, enough to heat 500 to 1,500 square feet of space.
