Learn more about Drolet:
by Deborah Holmes, Ebricks.com
From a province of long, cold winters and a country where hockey is a national passion comes the diminutive Rocket high efficiency wood stove.

The stove is pretty much a plain, small, black box – except for the raised relief of hockey players on the cast iron door. It comes in one color, and the only option available is a blower fan.

But don't let the plain looks deceive you. Inside the stove is the same technology used in the company's larger wood stoves. The firebox is lined with fire (refractory) brick, allowing for better heat distribution. Heated air is circulated through a stainless steel perforated baffle, allowing for a more complete combustion of the vented air. That means an efficiency rating of 83 percent, and fewer particles released into the air.

Recommended for spaces as small as 250 square feet, the stove will heat up to 1,000 square feet. It can take logs up to 17” in length.
