Got the appetite for a architectural glass panel railing system, but a do-it-yourself budget?

Dekorator's Scenic Balusters can give you a glass railing at a bargain price.

The system consists of tempered glass balusters held in place with either proprietary connectors or stainless steel screws. The 26” balusters, which make a three-foot railing, are not pre-drilled and must be installed with the plastic connectors. A taller, 32” high baluster comes with pre-drilled holes and can be fastened with stainless steel screws (included).

Stair railing connectors are also available.

Recommended installation spacing is 3-1/2 inches on center. Plan on one and a half balusters per running foot.

Balusters are sold in packs of five for about $59. You'll need two 1” x 4” connectors to install each baluster. Packs of 2 cost $7. They're available in clear or amber and in a straight or hourglass profile.

Balusters can be used with wood or composite decking. The connector kit is available in cedar, gray, mahogany or redwood colors.
