Learn more about Waterworks:
by Deborah Holmes, Ebricks.com
Households of the 18th century wouldn't have had the luxury of indoor plumbing, but they might have had washstands styled like the one pictured.

The English designs of Thomas Chippendale were the inspiration for the Harewood by Waterworks.

The poplar frame is joined with tongue and groove and wood dowels. A layer of mahogany veneer finishes the cabinet.

The Hancock bowl with its ribbed exterior is set into a 3/4"-thick marble counter.
