What could be better than flooring that's beautiful, natural, comfortable, durable and easy to maintain?
How about pre-finished cork planks that you can install yourself without messy glues?
Vallarex floating floor from Expanko offers all of the above.
The company's cork is harvested in the Mediterranean. The material, naturally rich in color and pattern, is then laminated to high-density fiberboard made of recycled materials. An underlayment of cork adds to the comfort of the floor and improves its soundproofing capabilities.
The three-foot long panels snap together to form a watertight seal thanks to tongues and grooves milled into the fiberboard.
The flooring can be used in residential and commerical applications over plywood, concrete, vinyl, and hardwood flooring with a plywood underlayment. The cork wear layer is finished with a water-based matte polyurethane, which Expanko says has the same durability as that of hardwood flooring. That's good because unlike hardwood flooring, cork flooring cannot be sanded and refinished.
Choose from nine natural patterns, seven natural colors and two stained colors.
