Learn more about EcoTimber:
by Deborah Holmes, Ebricks.com

With 7-1/2” wide planks and rustic knots and color variations, this flooring looks like its name -- Vintage Oak. But the easy-to-install flooring is new engineered hardwood.

A thin, layer of oak is laminated onto rubberwood and pine plywood using formaldehyde-free adhesive. The oak is certified as sustainably harvested by the Forestry Stewardship Council.

Prefinished with a scratch resistant acrylic, planks come in random lengths ranging from 28-3/4" to 86-1/4".

To prevent cupping and warping, the middle plywood layer runs perpendicular to the top and bottom layers.

Edges are beveled. Planks can be nailed, glued or installed as a floating floor.

The company backs its product with a lifetime residential warranty against structural defects and a 27-year finish warranty.
