In oil-rubbed bronze or satin nickel finishes, the mirrored cabinet features a keyed security lock, and was developed in response a growing problem of prescription drug abuse by teenagers. According to The Partnership for a Drug-Free America, one in five American teenagers will experiment with prescription or-the-counter drugs. They usually start with the home medicine cabinet.
“We decided to provide parents and homeowners with a more effective method to safeguard prescription and over-the-counter drugs,” says Julie Allongue, a marketing manager for Broan-NuTone.
Part of the Hampton Series, the locking cabinet has a durable piano hinge, three adjustable glass shelves, and a rust-resistant white steel body.
The recessed cabinet is reversible for right- or left-hand opening.
