by Deborah Holmes, Ebricks.com
Filtered drinking water directly from a kitchen faucet is convenient, but who needs it to wash dishes?

Moen's ChoiceFlo filtration system uses separate water supply lines, allowing you to choose filtered or ordinary tap water from a single tap. This makes the under-sink filters last longer than those in standard faucet mounted filters.

Shown here is the Chateau kitchen faucet, one of the company's popular models, which looks and operates like an traditional faucet.

The filter uses an activated carbon block and allows a one gallon per minute filtering flow rate. Filters last about six months under ordinary use. The $30 canister filters screw in easily.
