Felt is the surprising ingredient of these retro looking capsule lights.

That's right, felt. The same stuff that kids use to make holiday decorations and that more recently has become a popular hat and handbag material.

This felt is 100 percent wool and made by one of the last remaining millineries in the USA. Light all of Mio's products, these lights are environmentally and socially correct. The shades can be recycled or composted and are made locally with domestic materials.

The white in the bi-color shade diffuses light, the color half directs the light. The result is a soft glow. Colors include gray, camel and kiwi.

Install a single unit or a group of lights.

Use only compact fluorescent bulbs with these lights. They can be plugged in for easy moving or hard wired with an optional $15 kit.
