Learn more about Homestead House Paint Company:
by Deborah Holmes, Ebricks.com
Beeswax makes a wonderful healing skin balm, but who knew it could be used to finish wood?

This Canadian company specializing in non-toxic finishes and paints sells House Beeswax Finish as an all purpose sealant.

Use it on surfaces coated with milk paint or on fine furniture. It can also be used on furniture already finished with other oils. Food safe, it can be used around the kitchen on cutting boards, wooden utensils and salad bowls. It can even be used to finish wooden blocks and toys that may eventually end up in a toddler's mouth.

Sold by the gram, a 50-gram container will cover 100 square feet.
