Got plain walls? For a really dramatic look, consider this glass-beaded wallpaper.
Thousands of tiny glass beads are embedded in a flexible, non-woven backing. The paper can be installed on inside and outside corners, as well as on straight wall runs. It's available in 30 solids and geometric patterns that range from sophisticated to playful.
The 36" wide paper is sold by the yard.
Cut the paper to size by slicing through the backing with a razor blade. Once the backing material is cut, the glass beads pull away like a zipper, according to the retailer.
Use professional grade, pre-mixed vinyl adhesive to hang the paper. Clean the surface of the beads with a soft cloth and glass cleaner.
