These pre-assembled glass block panels offer both. Individual glass blocks in a choice of three patterns are joined by silicon. The panels fit snugly into the window opening and are secured with glass block mortar. With proper installation and caulking, the panels have an insulation value approaching that of a double pane thermal window. Individual blocks are 3-1/8" thick and come as 6" or 8" squares. Vents have four sizes, 18" x 6" or 24" x 6" for 6" blocks, or 16" x 8" or 24" x 8" for the 8" blocks. Cost varies, depending on the number of blocks used.
