Detailed ornamental cast iron and a trio of distinctive windows accent the Palladian woodstove. Polished soapstone below absorbs heat and slowly releases it, even when the fire dies down.
The stove accepts wood up to 16" long and will burn for 8 to 10 hours, with a maximum heat output of 45,000 BTUs per hour. That's enough to heat 800 to 1,300 square feet.
An efficiency rating of 72 rivals that of pellet stoves. The stove burns cleanly(1.9 grams of particulate emitted per hour) thanks to the standard catalytic combustor.
An airwash system keeps the ceramic viewing windows clear.
Loading is easy though the large side door. Two simple controls regulate the fire and the catalytic combustor. Ashes fall into a pan which can be emptied even with the stove lit.
Cast iron color choices are matte black, charcoal and metallic gray, blue or brown.
Choose top or rear venting.
