Learn more about Thermador:
by Deborah Holmes, Ebricks.com
A picture is worth a thousand words. A gas burner that will gently simmer sauces without scorching is probably worth a lot more to a cook. The burners on Thermador's new professional series range have extra-low settings for such cooking.

The restaurant style range features robust stainless handles and knobs. But it's more than just a pretty face. A high performance burner puts out a blazing 15,000 BTU/hr for fast boiling. The five-point design ensures rapid and even heat distribution. The ExtraLow simmer electronically cycles the flame on and off for precise control for tasks such as melting chocolate or simmering sauces.

The oven also delivers with electronic controls and convection heating for rapid, even baking.

Pro Grand Ranges are 27" deep (standard cabinets are 24" deep), and come in widths of 30”, 36” and 48”. Choose all-gas or dual-fuel, with four (30") or six burners. The 36" and 48" models can be fitted with an electric griddle.
