Will having precise control over temperature and water pressure make your morning shower a more powerful experience -- one that's worth, say, a couple grand?
Kohler hopes so with the introduction of its new DRV six-port thermostatic valve and digital interface.
With six preset "hydrotherapy experiences," the valve has a flow rate of 21 gallons per minute to up to eight showerheads, hand showers or body sprays.
List price for the six-port thermostatic valve starts at $1,157. But you can't operate the valve without a "digital interface." That controller, resembling a digital furnace thermostat, starts at $1,088. It's available in a portrait or landscape configuration in three finishes: satin chrome, bronze or nickel.
Expect to spend upwards of $3,000 with some showerheads. And you can go on from there to add sound, aroma and light therapy and more.
