I'll admit it: I love gadgets -- so much so that my husband Ken (who actually does most of the "heavy lifting" on our remodeling jobs) calls me "gadget gal."
I'm always interested in new tools, especially ones that look like they'd make a job easier. Stanley's Four-In-One Fubar is a nifty gadget that has already won Popular Science's "Best of What's New Award."
Part of the Fatmax Xtreme line, the tool is designed for prying, splitting, bending and striking. The one-piece forged steel bar includes an oversized face for removing drywall. Two-tiered jaws can grab common dimensional lumber and decking. Pull and pry nails with a beveled nail slot. The chisel blade can split and cut. The textured grip means less slipping, even when wet.
Available at many hardware stores and home centers, the Fubar is also sold directly from Stanley's website.
