This double-walled, insulated stainless steel soaking tub will make a splash in a high-end modern bathroom.

The handmade tub features a tailored, bowed top ledge, hand buffed seams and modernistic bottom support shanks. It measures 72 inches long and 36 inches deep. According to the manufacturer, stainless is no more slippery than any bathtub material and polyinsulation under the thin metal walls keeps the tub comfortably warm.

The tub can be cleaned with mild soap and a soft cloth. If you forget to towel dry the tub after use, vinegar or club soda will remove water spots.

The tub is also available in copper. Of course, a fashion statement of this type comes at a price. Stainless or copper tubs start at $14,500 and are made to order.
